I haven't seen Nole"s idiot father talking s**t now. That guy is such an idiot with his hateful comments and such hate against Federer and Nadal... Maybe this is part of how his son will NEVER be beloved as them, not even if he wins 30 gs....

Can’t believe he said rafa surprised him it’s nadal on clay ? A half decent rafa on clay is still crazy tough to beat , when he plays great ? It’s not impossible but very unlikely if you bring your best stuff , yet still as much as he was outplayed particularly in those first two sets he had his chances just couldn’t take them .

It was particularly impressive here, because the conditions were the most different at RG ever for him.. indoors, more damp, cooler, and lower bouncing balls, plus the fact that he only played 3 clay matches before RG this time, after having 7 months off

Novak said everything correct except for one thing. He was surprised how well Rafa played. Really? The man had won 12 previous French opens and beat Novak along the way in a few of them. It should surprise no one how well Nadal plays on clay, especially at the French open.

Djokovic: Nadal is who we thought he was. It’s who we thought he was. I played him in the atp cup. who the hell takes the atp like it’s bullshit? We played him well the third set everyone played 3 sets. NADAL IS WHO WE THOUGHT HE WAS! Now that’s why we took the damn court! If you wanna crown him then crown his ass! But he is what we thought he was and we let him off the hook!!!!!

Found my groove on the court.... what match was he playing? he just won 2 very good games in the last set... otherwise he always had a break point against in every serving game. He only had break points on that 2-3 game.... Well done Rafa

The things he said about being grateful, trying to be the best possible version of yourself and understanding that life changes and you can’t take anything for granted, I can relate to all of it and I find his attitude very humble and down to earth. Keep it going Novak, you are a great champion indeed!

Novak often talks himself to defeat. He is far too open with interviewers; ie stating that he feels the 2020 conditions at Roland Garros were in his favour. Imagine Rafa listening to this, grist to his mill. Novak allow your greatness to speak on the tennis court. This self adorning that you are prone to do leads to complacency, losing your edge.

Athletes at this level of play are always going to get some hate mixed with love. He handled this tournament loss very well. I think what we should all be taking out of this in general is that Novak, Rafa, and Roger are the best 3 tennis male players of all time, and its really not close. We are living in a world that has been dominated by all 3 of them. I am mostly a Fed fan, but i love watching how great Nole and Rafa are as well. No one has ever done what Rafa has done on Clay and its truly brilliant, and Novak is probably the best serve-returner and steadiest player ever in the history of the game. He gets everything! he is GUMBY!!! And then Roger is by far the most creative and smartest of all time. You can be partial to all 3 and you will not be wrong. All 3 of them are the greatest ever. Period. Let's see where they end up 3 years from now ! :) Enjoy the tennis and don't hate on any of them. They all rock !

People out here trying to say Novak gets hate for his fans when it's anything but. The entire hate towards him developed over the years for crushing Federer time and time again. The hate he gets is almost single-handedly created by Fed fans, the REAL toxic fanbase. Remember the level of disrespect Novak received in the last Wimbledon from Fed fans? And now they're making it seem like it's the Novak fans who're toxic.😄

    1. jollyjames30
      jollyjames30

You also have left out the amount of disrespect and ridicule that Novak's parents directed towards Federer since 2007. HIs mother saying "The king is dead, long live the new king", back in 2008 AO. And Novak's father saying "Why is Federer still playing at 34, just retire and go and do something else!" 😂 So yeah, if the Novak fans can't take it, don't dish it out.

Ishaan Gupta Novak’s fanbase is never as toxic as Federer’s and Nadal’s. You only need look on social media to see the vileness coming from them, ie, hate-filled comments, personal attacks, rhetoric based on unfounded information, stating their worthless opinions as though they were fact, etc, etc. In contrast, Novak’s fanbase’s comments are made in a retaliatory manner. You can deny all you wish, but the evidence is all there to support my claim.

At Australia Open this year Rafa was in best form also throughout tournament and was overplayed by Nole in the final. It is still a big difference between them and the rest. Most one sided FO I've ever seen. Joker was completely demolished by Rafa both in terms of tennis but more importantly tactically. To have any chance of winning it was imperative for him to win the first set but he lost 6-0 which really dictated the outcome. Joker didn't even try to change his strategy and just went into his shell and made as many unforced errors in this match as he usually does for a whole tournament! I think after the first set he just wanted it to be all over. He should have come to the net much more than he did to put pressure on Rafa but just didn't feel comfortable or confident enough to do so. Whenever Federer has beaten Rafa he has always put Rafa under pressure by constantly coming to the net. This strategy always puts the baseline player under pressure to make the passing shots and lobs but its easier said than done over 5 sets as Rafa is very good (no, excellent) under pressure especially on clay. I can see Rafa winning his 14th FO which is just 8 months away. Just shows though how these 3 players are miles better than the new gen which should have won slams by now. I know Thiem won the US Open but only because Joker got disqualified, and Rafa and Federer were not there so that victory will always be questionable.

Novak thought that he had the trophy in the bag, because he is surrounded by 'yes' man feeding his sense of invincibility. Now that he is in cloud zero, let's hope deep down ego isn't too hindered. We all want them 3 to last longer and continue their battles with a renewed Novak . But the new comers are knocking on the door. And they aren't that far behind either .On a good day they can beat him, RN or RF too. 2021 should be interesting.

Indeed, he was humbled by Nadal on Clay and congrats to Nadal who is the greatest clay court champion of all times...... BUT lets not forget what Novak has done thus far...Head to head he leads all top ten players and the other big 2 ( 29-Novak , 27 - Nadal), ( 27 - Novak, 23 - Federer), 17 grand slams, only player to hold all four at once since the tournaments have been played on three different surfaces, record 36 ATP Masters 1000 titles (only player to have won all 9 of the Master 1000 titles), record 3 consecutive AO titles, only player in history to win 3 or more consecutive slams 3 times in his career, highest earning tennis player in history and still has at least 7 years to go ! 2nd player to defeat Nadal at the French Open (& only player to date to do so in straight sets) and only player to defeat Nadal in all three clay court Masters events....etc Is Novak the GLOAT ....Greatest Legend Of All Time...???

This channel organizes world-class video clips. Thank you very much. We are a beginner's tennis KZauto club working out in Korea. We're learning a lot. It would be a great honor if you could come to our channel when you have time. Thank you.

NOVAK FOR LIFE. You are so Gracious and never speak a bad word about the Big 2 but you are the Big 1. I remember how it was always Federer Nadal, Nadal Federer but you waited patiently and worked hard, changed your eating etc and now it is your time to shine. I hope that you were not paid to lose intentionally. You are my Favourite always have been and always will be. PS Please give Nadal a message from me. Tell him to get the same stylist that you and Federer have. Nadal's clothes always look small and his choice of colours are atrocious. Love you and keep soaring. Kia Ora from NZ 🇳🇿

Djokovic did not play 100%, very wired match. He didn’t even get angry as it was on us open....very wired

Novak is getting better in dealing with people. He's more diplomatic now by controlling his childish behavior and be a real grown up man.

He has a great personality one to be compared with Federer . His approach to life and tennis I really am fond of . And he has humor.
